We’re Growing!

Funding, Kickoff Events, and More

Last month, Entrepreneurs Forever celebrated two kickoff events in Venango County, PA, one of our latest expansion markets.

The launch events were community outreach associated with a new grant of $1.17 million in federal funding, introduced and supported by Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and a grant from the Small Business Association (SBA). We’ll be able to serve up to 300 more small businesses in Western Pennsylvania!

We partnered with the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce, Venango County Commissioners, Forest County Business Alliance, and Jefferson County Development Council on the successful events, attracting over 75 community leaders and business owners.

“Small businesses are the bedrock of our communities, especially our rural communities. It is vital that  Western Pennsylvania entrepreneurs have the resources they need to grow and stay competitive in our changing economy because when our small businesses are strong, so is our nation.”
— Senator Bob Casey Jr.

Entrepreneurs Forever welcomed 45 Pittsburgh-area high school students from the Penn State Readiness Program for a crash-course in "Small Business 101." Presented by peer group facilitators Donald Robinson and Stacey Barlow-Hill, the afternoon event covered the ins, outs, and challenges of business ownership. And it looks like the students had a blast learning from the pros.

Monthly meetings changes

Members, there are currently 2 ways to locate your Zoom information and join your monthly meetings: the Hub and Google Calendar.

Starting in September, we will be removing peer group meetings from Google Calendar and ONLY using the Hub exclusively to share meeting information.

You will still continue to receive your meeting reminder emails from the Hub with your Zoom information. If you currently use Google Calendar to access your meeting information, please prepare to start locating your information in the Hub instead.

If you have any questions about locating your meeting information, please contact cdenny@e4ever.org.
