Legal Terms for the Referral Contest

Eligibility

The referral contest is open to Entrepreneurs Forever members, employees, and facilitators. Referred businesses must be located in Western Pennsylvania, have at least $30,000 in annual revenue, operate for over a year, and have owners working full-time.

Contest Period

The contest runs from October 25th to November 30th, 2024. During this period, winners will be selected based on the number of entries received.

Prizes

Four weekly $500 prizes and one $1500 grand prize will be awarded. Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with the prizes. Prizes valued over $600 may require the completion of a W-9 form.

How to Enter

Each qualified business referral counts as one entry. The more businesses you refer to, the more chances you have to win. Personalized referral links will be provided through Snoball. Only businesses that apply using the link will count as valid entries.

Selection of Winners

Weekly winners will be randomly drawn from all participants who have submitted referrals during that period. The grand prize will also be awarded via a raffle, with each referral serving as an entry into the final drawing.

Taxation

All prizes are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes. For prizes exceeding $600, winners will receive a 1099 form. By participating, winners agree to provide necessary information for tax reporting.

Liability Release

By participating, entrants agree to release Entrepreneurs Forever and its affiliates from any liability related to the contest or prizes.

Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow Entrepreneurs Forever to use their name, business name, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
